What it is really for

Large keys, clearly marked, for someone who finds a modern remote difficult. The maker states reduced grip strength and coordination difficulties explicitly rather than gesturing at “seniors”. A remote with forty small identical buttons is genuinely unusable for a lot of people, and this replaces it with a dozen large ones.

What is missing

Backlighting. Not stated. This is a product used in a dark room by definition, and large keys in the dark are still keys in the dark.

The time cost

Every function has to be taught individually. It is a session with two remotes on a table, not a minute — and once done, it is done.
