The best tilting and full-motion TV mounts for 2026

An articulating mount pulls a television away from the wall to be seen from the side, and the further it extends, the more leverage it applies to its fixings. Three published figures matter. VESA is the hole pattern, in millimetres, and a mount states a range rather than a single value. The load capacity is declared by the maker for the mount itself — it is not a statement about the wall, and a solid brick wall, a hollow plasterboard partition and an aerated concrete block behave in three different ways with the same screws. Then the geometry: extension, tilt and swivel angles, and how thin the assembly folds back. Read the fixings supplied too, because most kits include masonry screws only. We compare VESA range, stated load capacity, maximum extension, tilt and swivel angles, folded depth, and the fixings supplied.

The models we recommend

  1. PERLESMITH PSPISF1 full-motion TV wall mount, 13–42"

    13–42" · VESA 75×75 to 200×200 · 20 kg stated load · tilt +5°/−15° · swivel 90° each way · 360° rotation · 368 mm extension · single steel arm

A small full-motion mount that extends 368 mm and rotates through 360° — the movement of an expensive mount at the price of a fixed one.

Best for: A kitchen, bedroom or office screen that needs to be seen from more than one position.

    ≈ £13 / 16 €

  2. Amazon Basics XD2625P swivelling and tilting TV mount, 26–55"

26–55" (66–140 cm) · VESA 100×100 to 400×400 · 36.3 kg stated load · tilt +10°/−5° · stated for concrete, brick and single wood stud walls

One of the few mounts that names the wall types it was designed for — concrete, brick and a single wood stud — instead of leaving the question open.

Best for: A mid-sized set on a timber-framed wall, where the stud position decides the mount position.

    ≈ $28 / £15 / 16 €

  3. Hama Full-motion TV wall mount, 32–75"

32–75" (81–191 cm) · VESA up to 400×400 · swivel up to 160° · tilt 15° · extendable · drilling template, spirit level and fischer plugs supplied · developed in Germany

A full-motion mount that arrives with a drilling template, a spirit level and named fischer plugs — the installation kit is the argument.

Best for: A first wall-mount installation, where having the right template and plugs in the box removes a trip to a shop.

    ≈ £51 / 43 €

  4. Perlegear PGMF24B full-motion TV wall mount, 32–65"

    32–65" (81–165 cm) · VESA from 200×100 to 200×200 and wider · 60 kg stated load · tilt −15° to +5°, two adjusters · swivel ±90° · single-joint arm, 30% thicker

A stated 60 kg on a single arm with two separate tilt adjusters — the heaviest capacity on this shelf outside the premium bracket.

Best for: A heavy mid-to-large set that needs to swing out, on a wall that has been properly identified.

    ≈ £40 / 42 €

  5. Vogel's Comfort TVM 3665 full-motion OLED TV wall mount, 40–77"

40–77" · designed around OLED panel depth · up to 180° viewing angle · One-Finger Movement · cable clip · TÜV tested to 3× stated maximum load

TÜV tested to three times its stated maximum load, and light enough to move with one finger — the two claims that separate a premium arm.

Best for: A thin OLED panel that will be repositioned regularly, where the mount is meant to disappear behind it.

    ≈ $230 / £204 / 178 €
