The stated load says nothing about your wall
An articulating mount pulls a television away from the wall to be seen from the side, and the further it extends, the more leverage it applies to its fixings. Three published figures matter. VESA is the hole pattern, in millimetres, and a mount states a range rather than a single value. The load capacity is declared by the maker for the mount itself — it is not a statement about the wall, and a solid brick wall, a hollow plasterboard partition and an aerated concrete block behave in three different ways with the same screws. Then the geometry: extension, tilt and swivel angles, and how thin the assembly folds back. Read the fixings supplied too, because most kits include masonry screws only.
