Speaker cable is one of the few things in this catalogue where the physics is settled and the marketing is not. What matters is cross-section against length: 1.5 mm² is ample for ordinary runs, 2.5 mm² for long runs or low-impedance speakers, and beyond that the returns are theoretical. The second real specification is the conductor — pure copper against copper-clad aluminium, which has higher resistance for the same diameter and is often sold on the diameter alone.
