The description that earns the price

Alu-mylar foil, plus a dense aluminium braid. Two screens, and they do different jobs: foil gives complete coverage and works at high frequencies; braid has gaps but much lower resistance and works better at low ones. A cable crossing mains wiring meets both, which is why the combination is the standard answer.

Every cable on this shelf says “shielded”. This one says how.

The impedance claim

The maker states that the cable’s characteristic impedance lets it carry digital audio as well as analogue. The value itself is not in this listing. If the intention is to use it as a coaxial digital cable, that figure is the one to confirm before buying — a mismatch shows up as dropouts, not as noise.
