The one specification this shelf turns on

Alcohol and ammonia. Modern panels and projector lenses carry anti-reflective coatings a few microns thick, and both substances dissolve them. The damage is permanent, gradual and looks like haze — which is why it is never noticed happening.

That is the entire reason to buy a dedicated product rather than a household spray.

What this listing says, and does not

It states the fluid is free of aggressive ingredients, and lists the panel types it suits including OLED. It does not name alcohol or ammonia either way.

That is a general reassurance rather than a declaration, and it is the state of four of the five products on this shelf. Only one names both.

The cloth

40 × 40 cm — the largest here. On a 55-inch television that is the difference between one pass and three. What is not published is its weight in gsm: a coarse microfibre scratches what the fluid did not touch.

The brush

The right tool for dust in a bezel or a vent, used before anything wet goes near the panel. On a projector lens the same principle applies more strictly: dust should be blown or brushed off glass before a cloth touches it.

The habit that matters more than the product

Spray the cloth, never the screen. Fluid running down the bezel into the electronics is the failure this shelf actually causes.
