What two platforms change

A projector needs a source. A trolley that carries only the projector leaves the streaming box or the laptop on the floor, and the whole thing stops being mobile.

Upper platform 42 × 50 cm at 85 to 110 cm. Lower platform 40 × 35 cm at 70 to 95 cm. Both adjustable independently, both tilting −35° to +35°, both rotating 360°, both rated 10 kg.

That is an installation on wheels rather than a stand.

The detail that makes the tilt usable

Fitted edge stops. A platform tilted 35° towards a screen is a slope, and equipment slides down slopes. Stops are what turn a large tilt range from a hazard into a feature.

The castors

Four swivel, two lockable. Two locked castors stop the trolley wandering, which on a hard floor during a film is a real problem. Four locking would be better; two is the common arrangement and it works.

The cost of the design

Floor space. A cross-foot base is stable and it occupies a footprint a tripod does not. And the trolley’s own weight is not published — though a cross-foot column carrying two loaded platforms is not a light object.

Where it belongs

A room used for films occasionally, a classroom, a meeting room — anywhere the projector and its source have to arrive together and leave together.
