That is the specification this shelf exists for. Modern panels and projector lenses carry anti-reflective coatings a few microns thick; alcohol and ammonia dissolve them; the damage is permanent, gradual and looks like haze. Four of the five products in this catalogue do not say whether they contain either.

This one does, and that alone is a reason to prefer it near a coated optic.

The design

Spray and pad in one body. Nothing to lose, nothing to keep in a different drawer. The inner bottle refills and the microfibre surface washes, so the unit lasts rather than being replaced.

The limit of that design

A small pad. On a phone or a tablet it is the right tool. On a 55-inch television it is a lot of passes, and one of the sets on this shelf with a 40 × 40 cm cloth is more practical. The trade is size against certainty.

What is not published

The volume. Without it, value against the 250 ml and 500 ml bottles on this shelf cannot be compared.

The method, regardless of product

Spray the pad, never the screen. Fluid running down a bezel into the electronics is the failure this shelf causes.
