The bottom line The largest portable size that still folds away — with the stability and brightness trades that a large surface on a light stand always brings.
What 100 inches gets you
A genuinely cinematic image from something that packs into a tube. In a garden after dark or a spare room, that is a real thing to have.
What it asks of the projector
Light. A 100-inch image has more than twice the area of a 70-inch one, and the same machine is correspondingly dimmer everywhere. A portable projector spread this wide will disappoint; a mains-powered one will not.
Outdoors
Anchoring matters more than the stand. Two metres of fabric is a sail, and a light tripod is not designed to resist wind. A sheltered corner beats a better stand.
What is not published
Gain, backing, keystone bar. Standard for this shelf and worth knowing, particularly the keystone bar: without one, a projector placed low has to correct digitally, and that costs sharpness.
The realistic use
Set up, used, put away. Judged on packed size, setup time and the state of the leg assembly after a season — not on a fabric specification nobody publishes.

Questions people actually ask
Will it stay up outdoors?
In still air, yes. A two-metre surface is a sail, and any breeze acts on the whole of it — anchoring is what decides, and no tripod screen is designed to resist wind. Choose a sheltered position rather than relying on the stand.
Is 100 inches too big for a portable projector?
Often, yes. A battery projector spread across a 100-inch image is dim; the same machine at 70 inches looks much better. The screen size and the projector's output are one decision rather than two.
