At 266 cm wide, there is no television alternative. This is the point where a projector stops being a compromise on a large screen and becomes the only way to have one.
Light. Image area rises with the square of the width, so a machine that looks bright at two metres has to work four times as hard here — check the projector’s stated ANSI or ISO figure and be realistic about the room before ordering a screen this size.
Metal, nearly three metres long. On a roller of this length, the casing has to hold the tube straight; a plastic one is more prone to bowing over time, and the fabric follows the tube.
Tab tensioning and gain. A wider screen shows waviness more readily than a narrow one, so the absence of tensioning matters more here than on a small roller. Expect to leave it extended for a week and to accept some movement near the edges.

That depends on its stated output and the room. Doubling image width roughly quadruples the area, so a machine that is comfortable at two metres will look dim at 2.66. Compare the projector's ANSI or ISO figure against the size, and be honest about ambient light.
