Epson builds 3LCD projectors: three panels, one per primary colour, combined through a prism. The practical consequence is that white light and coloured light leave the lens at the same rate, which is why the brand publishes both figures.
A single-chip projector can be very bright in white and noticeably dimmer in colour, and a specification that quotes only one number hides the gap. Epson quotes two. Whether the second figure matters to you depends on the room, but having it is the difference between comparing and guessing.
